Zhongyu Travel
Tailor-made

Your trip, built from a blank page

Every itinerary on this site is a starting point, not a product. Roughly eight in ten of our travellers end up with something that does not exist anywhere else — a different route, a slower pace, a city we added because of something they mentioned in passing.

No cost

Drafting and revising an itinerary is free. There is no deposit until you approve the final plan, and no booking fee at any point.

01

Tell us the rough shape

Dates, how long you have, who is travelling and what you would rather avoid. Two paragraphs is plenty — you do not need an itinerary.

02

We draft a route

A specialist who has worked your destinations puts together a day-by-day plan with hotel options and a clear price. Usually within one working day.

03

We revise it, together

Add a city, drop a museum, swap the hotel class, slow the pace. Most itineraries go through three or four versions before they are right.

04

You travel, we stay on call

One named contact and a 24/7 English-speaking line for the whole trip. Your guide and driver are booked and briefed before you land.

Questions

The things people ask first

If your question is not here, just ask it in the form — you will get a straight answer from a person, not a brochure.

How much does a tailor-made trip cost?

Our private tours typically land between US$180 and US$320 per person per day, depending on hotel class, city and season. That covers hotels, private transport, guides, entrance tickets and listed meals. We quote a single figure before you commit, and it does not change afterwards.

Is there a fee for planning?

No. Drafting an itinerary and quoting it is free, and there is no obligation to book. We only ask for a deposit once you have approved the final plan.

Can you handle dietary requirements?

Yes — vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free and nut allergies are all workable. We brief every restaurant in advance and pick places that can actually deliver, rather than promising and hoping.

We are travelling with children. Is that a problem?

It is one of the things we do most. We adjust pace, build in downtime, choose hotels with pools where it helps, and match guides who are good with the age group.

What if something goes wrong on the trip?

You call or message one number, at any hour, and reach a person in China who can make decisions — rebook a train, change a hotel, send a driver. This is the main reason to book with an operator rather than assembling the trip yourself.
